I had the privilege of serving with Chief Schaub at Minot AFB & Offutt AFB. He was always a great example with a sunny dispositon that you always knew cared. We were all blessed to have known him. May God hold you close and show you that Bill is with him in all his glory. My heart & thoughts are with you.

Working with the Chief was such an enjoyable experience for me. I respected the man for his accomplishments as a medic, climbing the career ladder to becoming one of the elite AF enlisted. His calm demeanor made him even that more impressive to me, as he aggressively worked the enlisted issues, but at the same time entertaining you with his laid back style and sometimes humorous glimpse of his association with other AF colleagues from the past. Chief, you will be deeply missed by those of us that have had the opportunity to know you and also by the new young professionals that have not. Here's to moving those BBQ grills for that big picnic in heaven. See you when I get there.

Chief Scaub was a great role model and man. Every conversation that I had with him was inspiring. He was always a pleasure to work with at Offutt AFB. Chief loved God, his family, his job, and the AF. I have a great deal of respect for him. He operated in integrity and was always positive. He was always available if someone needed advice or an ear. Chief, you are missed. I'll see you later. :-) I'm blessed to have crossed paths with him. He truly made an impact on my life and what he added is part of who I am today. Thank you for allowing him to give to us and the world. I know you will take what the Lord left in you through Chief and continue to give it to others. God has you in His arms and He will continue to comfort/keep you/see you through this time. I'm praying for you now and for the rest of your journey.

We are all just passing through this life till the next life. Chief had a great way about him that made the days just a little sweeter. He was a person anyone would have been blessed to know. Life is truly so short. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Love always, forgive often, live with no regrets. Sincerly, Teresa

I only new the Chief as an aquaintence; however, I was immediately aware of how and why he earned the position of CMSgt. I attended a MSgt induction ceremony where Chief cheered his troop with sincere support. "Who's a Mighty Medic!" was his call. Chiefs enable the mission by taking care of the troops. I could see this in Chief Schaub.

    Very Respectfully,
    MSgt Amy Pope

I lived with you guys in Jettenbach, Germany. Watched your house and watered your vast tomato plants while you guys were on vacation. Your husband was not only an awesome Chief but a strong believer in Jesus. We'll have fellowship together once again someday in heaven. God Bless.

Bill and I were office mates while he was a squadron superintendent at EB Hospital, Offutt AFB. We had many deep discussion with the emphasis on our reliance on God as the author and perfector of our faith. Bill was devoted to his Lord and his enthusiasm for the faith was evident throughout his daily walk. He would want us to rejoice that he is with the Lord right now, but he will be missed here by all who knew him. Peace and comfort to Deb and the family. In His Love, Cordell Bullis
