It is hard to believe that it has been a year since we last saw Chief's smiling face and heard his encouraging, happy voice.

Several weeks ago we dedicated our large assembly room in honor of the Chief, marking the occasion with a small celebration of his life and service. We have a plaque and the "medic's prayer" hanging on the wall to remember the Chief.

Thank You, Debbie

Just checking in...there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Chief, and what a good man, great Chief, and wonderful friend he was. His loss still resonates throughout the Med Group.

And for those who have asked: Debbie seems to be doing well. We honored her and the memory of Chief at our annual christmas party, and Debbie was surrounded by friends who really are "family" now. Debbie, in her kindness, donated a large sum towards our party to ensure that everyone - every Airman - could attend, and it was indeed a happy occasion for all.

Thank you to everyone who has visited this site and shared their memories of Chief; it is comforting - to all of us - to know how beloved and respected he was, and that he will never be forgotten.

Thank You

THANK YOU to everyone who has visited this memorial website and shared their memories and appreciation of Chief Schaub. He was far too young and happy to leave us. If you would like to share your thoughts or memories of Chief Schaub, please leave a comment here for his wife and family and friends to see.
